Instructions

Enter Motion Weave State (InstructionEnterMotionWeaveState)

  • Title: Enter Motion Weave State
  • Description: Enters a Motion Weave State above the Character's active locomotion states.
  • Category: Characters/Animation/Enter Motion Weave State
  • Parameters:
  • Character - The Humanoid Character that receives the State Clip.
  • Motion Weave State - The State asset to enter.
  • First Overlay Layer - The independent Motion Weave slot. Higher slots compose after lower slots.
  • Delay - Time to wait before the State starts.
  • Speed - Playback speed for the entry gesture.
  • Duration - How long the State stays active. 0 keeps it active until it is stopped.
  • Transition - Blend time when the State starts.

Stop Motion Weave State (InstructionStopMotionWeaveState)

  • Title: Stop Motion Weave State
  • Description: Stops the Motion Weave State in one overlay layer.

  • Character - The Character whose State stops.
  • First Overlay Layer - The same layer used by Enter Motion Weave State.
  • Delay - Time to wait before the State starts blending out.
  • Transition - Blend-out time.

Play Motion Weave Gesture (InstructionPlayMotionWeaveGesture)

  • Title: Play Motion Weave Gesture
  • Description: Plays the Entry Clip, State Clip, and Exit Clip once.
  • Category: Characters/Animation/Play Motion Weave Gesture
  • Parameters:
  • Character - The Humanoid Character that plays the gesture.
  • Motion Weave State - The State asset that supplies the clips and weights.
  • First Overlay Layer - The temporary Motion Weave slot.
  • Delay - Time to wait before the gesture starts.
  • Speed - Playback speed for the complete sequence.
  • Transition - Blend time for the entry and exit.
  • Wait To Complete - Wait for the complete sequence before the next instruction runs.

Stop Motion Weave Gesture (InstructionStopMotionWeave)

  • Title: Stop Motion Weave Gesture
  • Description: Stops any Motion Weave Gestures playing on the Character.

  • Character - The Character that plays Motion Weave Gestures.
  • Delay - Amount of seconds to wait before the gesture starts to blend out.
  • Transition - The amount of seconds the gesture takes to blend out.

Use Stop Motion Weave State for the usual aim and reload setup. Use Stop Motion Weave Gesture to stop any Motion Weave Gestures playing on the Character.
