HeroBridge

Runtime and editor tools for Sidekick Modular Characters.

Quick setup

Install the Sidekick tools first, then add HeroBridge and generate its cache for your character packs.

  1. Install the Sidekick FREE Starter Pack, Sidekick Tool, and Sidekick Database.
  2. Open Window > Package Manager and install HeroBridge Standalone.
  3. Generate the cache from Tools > HeroBridge Standalone > Generate Cache.

HeroBridge

HeroBridge Standalone adds runtime and editor tools for Sidekick Modular Characters. Use it to apply character parts, presets, colors, and expressions, then save the finished appearance and build preview icons for your customization UI.

HeroBridge uses generated cache data instead of reading the Sidekick database at runtime. This keeps character systems smooth and makes WebGL builds possible.

HeroBridge is built for character creators, runtime character editing, and projects that use Sidekick Modular Characters without direct database access in a build.
